001 | WHAT IS A WRITING COACH?
A writing coach is exactly what it sounds like: someone you can go to with questions, confusion, needs, goals, and aspirations when it comes to your writing projects. A writing coach supports you in accomplishing your writing goals, one project at a time. They also guide you in putting together the most efficient way to meet those goals, while helping you refine your writing technique and skills.
002 | WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS CAN YOU HELP ME WITH?
The great thing about writing coaching is that you typically work per project. Any project, big or small, can benefit from having a coach on board. This means everything from a book to a card deck, podcast script to a blog post, editorial article to a biography for your website, and everything in between.
003 | WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
We’ll work together on a writing project that’s near and dear to your heart until it reaches completion. We’ll set a goal and create a plan with actionable steps to reach it, and work on polishing your writing skills and content to perfection along the way.
You won’t just get suggestions; you’ll get writing techniques, skills, and input to improve your writing in a concrete way.
You’ll also have weekly, 30-minute Zoom meetings to ask questions, implement, and go over anything that needs extra clarification, explanation, or time to work through.
Coaching duration completely depends on how long your project will take to complete and can range from a small project in a one month timeframe to a large project in a 10 or 12 month timeframe.
004 | IS THIS FOR ME?
If you have a writing project on your plate or on your goal list for 2022, writing coaching is a great way to stay on track and get an expert pair of eyes on your work before it meets the world.
