MENTORSHIP

Everything you need to know about my mentorships. Have a question that isn’t answered on this page? Click here to send me an email and we can talk about it.

001 | WHAT IS YOUR MENTORSHIP PROGRAM ALL ABOUT?

I offer my mentorships in honor of my own mentors, who have helped me grow and become the writer I am today. There’s only so much you can learn on your own and by scouring The Google and YouTube. Granted, it’s a hell of a lot you can learn, but there are still things that someone with experience can provide that the internet can’t. This was a lesson I resisted, and I’m here to help you learn it a lot faster than I did.

002 | WHAT KINDS OF PROJECTS CAN YOU HELP ME WITH?

Mentorship is best for ongoing writing support. This means, rather than working per project, we work together on an ongoing basis and tackle each piece of writing you do during that time period. That can include working on chapters for a future book, writing a regular newsletter, guest posts for online publications, social media captions, and so much more.

003 | WHAT CAN I EXPECT?

In a mentorship arrangement, you can expect reliable, consistent help and feedback when you need it, and how you need it. We work to get to know each other through questions and calls to create a good flow that accommodates us both and gets my eyes on all your work.

You submit any and every piece of writing you’d love help with, and you’ll get timely feedback on both what you’re doing flawlessly and ways you can improve the piece and your skills for your future writing.

You won’t just get suggestions; you’ll get writing techniques, skills, and input to improve your writing in a concrete way.

You’ll also have weekly, 60-minute Zoom meetings to ask questions, implement, and go over anything that needs extra clarification, explanation, or time to work through.

Mentorships typically range from 3-12 months depending on needs and goals.

004 | IS THIS FOR ME?

Would you love to have expert feedback built into your writing process? Are you at a place on your writing path that you’re ready to make improvements in your skills and take your work to the next level?

A mentorship is for you if you answered yes to either of these questions; a mentorship is not for you if writing isn’t something you take seriously or are looking to excel at in the future.
